Live Out Your Unique Purpose

Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.” John 4:34

Allow me to paint a picture for you:

It’s early morning in a home overlooking the Sea of Galilee. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood as it begins to wake up. Jesus is sleeping on a mat in the corner. As a rooster crows and sunlight streams through a window in the east wall, he opens his eyes to meet the new day.

Is there any doubt in your mind that Jesus would have a smile on his face? Can you ever imagine Jesus moaning and pulling the covers over his eyes?

Jesus had an incredible lust for life.

The secret? He was doing exactly what God had placed him on earth to do. Jesus received so much strength from doing God’s will that he referred to it as his nourishment.

The abundant life Jesus promises is possible when you understand and live out God’s unique purpose for you.
