Ignite Your Passion

You are neither hot nor cold. I wish that you were one or the other! But since you are like lukewarm water, neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth! Revelation 3:15-16

If two job applicants are equally skilled, I always choose the one who displays more passion for the company’s vision and goals.

Passion is the fuel that lifts them above average, into the rarefied air of star performance.

Skilled people are good at what they do, but passionate people are in love with what they do.

The church at Laodicea was competent and rich. They had it all together, and they were very skilled at doing church. Jesus looked past the surface to see that they were miserable, poor, and blind.

Would people on your team describe you as being in love with your mission? Do you wake up every morning giddy with excitement over your to-do list?

Jesus came so you could have an abundant life. He wants you to be as invested in your life as he is.

Ask him to ignite your passion for leadership.
