Don’t Be A Loner
Don’t Be a Loner
It is not good for the man to be alone. Genesis 2:18
As the leader of your organization, you have a unique perspective, because the buck always stops with you. Everyone is looking to you for vision and direction.
God placed Adam in the Garden to watch over it, and despite all the confidence he had in Adam, God knew the man needed someone to confide in.
Close relationships are extremely valuable for people in leadership positions. Having a handful of people you trust for confidential advice can make the difference between a good decision and a great one. Having a close friend who always speaks the truth will save you from making costly mistakes in judgment.
Take a moment right now to inventory your relationships. You should be able to count on one hand the number of people who are members of your inner circle and with whom you share mutual knowledge and respect.
There are many reasons why it is not good for you to be alone. Make sure you aren’t.
