Cut Slackers Loose

Instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. Romans 1:23-24

Paul points to one of God’s important leadership qualities:

God doesn’t waste time.

Perhaps you’ve been struggling with an employee or customer who clearly doesn’t get it.

You tell yourself that a little more effort will eventually pay off. You add up what you’ve already invested in strengthening the relationship and decide that it would be foolish to throw it all away.

Every situation is unique, and you may very well be on the brink of a breakthrough, but pay attention to how God handles similar circumstances.

He has an unlimited amount of time and infinite resources at his disposal, but he still abandons those who refuse to get with the program.

When the time comes to cut people loose, God cuts them loose. What are you waiting for?
