Ask God For Wisdom

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. James 1:5

Some questions don’t have right or wrong answers:

Coke or Pepsi? Paper or plastic? Mac or PC?

We don’t get hung up on simple questions because the consequences of our choices are pretty small.

However, some questions can tie us in knots for days:

Which of these two great applicants should I hire?

I’ve been accepted at two outstanding schools. Which should I choose?

Should I take the new job, or stay here and take the promotion?

Deciding between two or more right answers is what wisdom and discernment are all about, and going to God with your dilemma can help you make a final choice.

Are you stuck on the horns of a dilemma right now? James promises that God will not rebuke you for seeking his guidance. Go to God, ask for wisdom, and then make your choice.

It is not a sign of weakness to ask the Creator of the universe for advice.
