Ask For Success

Ask for Success

Please give me success today. Genesis 24:12

Let’s be straight as an arrow about this:

It is okay to succeed at something.

It is okay to want success.

It is okay to do what needs to be done to achieve success.

The key to making it work in a God-honoring way is to have the right motives. Abraham’s servant was given a task to complete, and he wanted to please his master, so he asked God to grant him success.

Your definition of success may need to be altered. Is “winning the race” your goal, or is achieving a personal best the real measure of success?

As a leader, you should desire success, not for what it can do for you, but for how you can use it to bless others.
