Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind?

Job 38:36

FROM THE HEART OF GOD

“You are a sacred work. I carefully crafted all your intricate parts—your mind, your heart, your true interests and deepest desires, your personality with all its qualities and quirks, and every nuance of your being. I knit you together in your mother’s womb, and I was pleased with My work. I saw every day of your life before you were born. My thoughts toward you are more personal and more thorough than you have ever imagined.

“Very often when you ask to hear Me, I have already put My truth inside you. I gave you a conscience, and I have urged you to make sure it remains sensitive to Me. I have given you instincts, and I expect you to follow them. You may question your gut reactions, but sometimes they are exactly what I intended. You are suspicious of your own heart, but I have given you a new heart and victory over your fallen nature. Much of what you are searching for outside of yourself, I have already put within you.

“Did you think your thoughts were entirely your own? Did you assume your wisdom and Mine were entirely different entities? Did you expect My voice always to come from outside of yourself? That isn’t how I’ve designed you. You aren’t infallible, but neither are you completely distinct from My voice, especially if you’ve been immersing yourself in My Word and My ways.

“I want you to trust the Holy Spirit that is in you. I didn’t send Him to remain outside for you to search for Him there. I sent Him into your heart for you to search for Him within. He makes His home in your body, soul, and spirit because I perfectly crafted you and thoroughly redeemed you to host His presence. Trust My work in you as much as you trust My work outside of you.”

Spirit of God, I do trust You, but I don’t trust myself. Yet I have been made by the Father and remade by the Son. You have prepared me to know You fully. Anything less is false humility. Give me holy boldness to trust Your work in me.
