God Is With You!

The Lord was with Joseph and blessed him greatly as he served in the home of his Egyptian master. Genesis 39:2

Joseph was living in a foreign country separated from his family. He was the slave of a man named Potiphar, a good man but a man who every day reminded Joseph that he was not home. Each task reminded Joseph that his own brothers had rejected him and that his own family had turned him away.

Joseph had a long list of reasons to feel sorry for himself, but he had one reason for hope—a reason bigger than anything else he faced: the Lord was with him.

The pressures of life discouraged Joseph, but the presence of God brought him hope. His responsibilities were heavy, but the presence of God brought success. Life had been a circumstantial and emotional roller coaster, but the presence of God brought the kind of stability that allowed Joseph to prosper in the midst of the unpredictable.

One of the most important moments you’ll ever experience in your life is the one when you realize the presence of God is greater than everything else combined. When you believe that God is with you, you can’t help but prosper. When you understand that God is with you, life is always doable. When you embrace the fact that God is with you, you can flourish in any circumstance.

Lord, remind me today that you are with me no matter what my circumstances look like.
