Choosing To Be Faithful

I have chosen to be faithful;

I have determined to live by your regulations.

I cling to your laws.

LORD, don’t let me be put to shame!

I will pursue your commands,

for you expand my understanding.

Psalm 119:30-32

Asking for help is something many of us don’t like to do. We tend to think we don’t need any help. “I can handle things myself,” we say to ourselves. In today’s prayer, the desire of the psalmist was to be faithful to God.

Express to the Lord your desire to follow him with all your heart, soul, and mind. Then commit yourself to asking him for his guidance and wisdom in the situations you face in life.
