FATHER GOD, awaken me by

shocking me out of my boredom with life;

allowing others to minister to me when I’m ministering to someone else;

snapping me out of my self-pity thinking;

providing me with the motivation, talent, and means to trade places with ___________________________;

strengthening me to play the same song, fourth verse, with grace.

Actions I will take:

Example: I am so tired and could use some ministering to myself. Today I will call __________________________ and share with her my burden.

Father, I come to you asking for forgiveness—forgiveness for failing to live the full life you have waiting for me. I ask you to awaken my every fiber to live the life and be the witness you have called me to be. I am humbled by your love and interest in my every thought, my every move. Amen.
