Due to Circumstances beyond Our Control

FATHER GOD, when it comes to fear, uncertainty, and doubt, I pray for your divine intervention that I might overcome

my paralyzing fear of failure;

my fear of not getting what I feel is due me;

my victim thinking;

my fear of rejection;

my fantasies and the terrible things I make up in my mind;

my worry and obsession with the future;

my self-doubt.

Actions I will take:

Example: When fear grips me, I will remind myself that my loving Father is in control.

Father, you are the giver of all good gifts. I pray that you will bless me with courage to overcome timidity. I pray you will bless me with a sense of abundance that I will not be concerned with things I feel entitled to receive. I pray for your blessing of confidence and assurance in myself. And I pray for the blessing of increased faith—that I might trust that you securely hold my tomorrow in your hands. Amen.
