Crossroads

FATHER GOD, I pray for your direction. You know that

I am sitting at a crossroads, paralyzed, not knowing which way to turn;

I am struggling to forgive __________________;

I am miserable sitting in this place of resentment;

I need to invest in making a life;

I need to reach out and attempt to reconcile my friendship with ___________________;

I am struggling in making important decisions that will affect my fulfillment at work;

my insecurities are threatening my most important relationships;

I need a new experience that will stretch me, teach me, and inspire me;

my heart needs to learn to trust again;

my passion and my logic are locked in a raging battle; show me your will;

my discontent is robbing me of the uncommon joy that can be realized through a spirit of gratitude.

Actions I will take:

Example: I will decide today to put my resentment away. It’s time to forgive and move on.

Father of light, I thank you for revealing to me your desire that I live a life of peace and joy. I am comforted by the fact that you know I struggle and am often confused when sitting at these crossroads, but I thank you for convicting me to turn the right direction. I lift up my need to forgive, my insecurities, and my discontent, and ask that you send the Holy Spirit to fill me with a new attitude and a spirit of peace. Amen.
