Catching My Second Wind

FATHER GOD, I am tired, but I recognize that

you have gifted me with talents to fill real needs on this earth;

I often spend too much time thinking about my circumstances when I could be serving others;

in order for my husband and me to have a marriage that matures gracefully, we must rekindle our flame;

personal development is my obligation to myself and to the betterment of my marriage.

Actions I will take:

Example: I will stop procrastinating and sign up for Spanish lessons.

Father, blow the winds of your Holy Spirit into my sails. Open my eyes to the needs that I can fill. Refocus my attention from my own circumstances so I may see those whom I can serve. Thank you, Lord, for giving me the gift of my husband. Take my mind, heart, and body, and help me to rekindle the flames of passion with him. And let my continued personal growth be a blessing to my family and to you as I live out my last days in the middle of your will. Amen.
