Graduation

LORD OF OUR LIVES, this is a special day for my child—graduation day! Since before he was born, we have anticipated the day he would be launched into adulthood. We have spent these years doing our best to support him in his interests, endeavors, school, and activities, all the while watching and wondering what he might pursue. Even on this day, we don’t know what the sum of his life will be. But you do, Lord; you love this child of ours more than we do. You know him intimately and have wonderful plans for him. May he choose to love you with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. Please protect him, give him wisdom, and grant him success. May he hold on to the truth that you have been sustaining his life from day one.
