Psalm 37:5

Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.

In this psalm, David contrasts the godless with the faithful and names many benefits of living in total commitment to God. He concludes that trusting God with all that we are and have is not just our best hope but also our greatest assurance. It is not always easy to trust God in a world where it seems like godless people are getting ahead. But this verse assures us that the almighty, sovereign Creator of the universe will help those who are dependent on his leading. With God on your side, there is no need to worry about what evil people are doing.
