Psalm 118:5-7

In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. The LORD is for me, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me? Yes, the LORD is for me; he will help me.

Have you ever known someone who was completely for you—someone who was always available to offer support and had your best interests at heart? This is how God loves you! He is rooting for you, encouraging you to become all he created you to be. When you pray, he answers by giving what is best for you. When you long for companionship, he is right there. When you need support, he encourages you. Develop the spiritual skill of noticing him and hearing his voice. If the God of the universe cares this much about you, what do you really have to fear today?
