Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.

We are all concerned with our own protection, but God has also given us the responsibility of protecting others. Being a follower of Jesus requires more than knowing what is good; it demands doing good. Someday God will set the whole world right. But for now, he wants you to partner with him to bring justice for those who cannot speak up for themselves—the crushed, the poor, and the helpless. What injustices break your heart? Pray that God would stir you to action to support those who desperately need it.
