Jeremiah 31:3

I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.

What we believe about God impacts every part of our lives—our thoughts, attitudes, actions, and relationships. God spoke this beautiful verse to his people in exile, even though they had turned their backs on him time and again. He describes his love for them as everlasting and unfailing. How might your life look different if you truly internalized the love God has for you? Would you feel more secure and joyful? Would you be less burdened by guilt? Would you love others and yourself better because of the love you have received from God? Read this verse again, but this time put your name in place of “my people.” Imagine God speaking this over you. Ask him to help you internalize his everlasting and unfailing love for you.
