Isaiah 49:15-16

Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands.

This is a beautiful verse for those who feel forgotten by God. His care for us is greater than a mother’s care for her nursing child. A mother cannot forget her baby for even a moment because she is deeply bonded and intimately connected to her child. God feels the same about you. He loves you. He sees you. He cares for you even when you are unaware of it. You may not understand what he is doing in your life, but that doesn’t mean he has abandoned you. Take these truths to heart and choose to believe that your heavenly Father will never forget you.
