Christ is not only a remedy for your weariness and trouble, but He will give you an abundance of the contrary: joy and delight. They who come to Christ, do not only come to a resting place after they have been wandering in a wilderness, but they come to a banqueting house where they may rest, and where they may feast. They may cease from their former troubles and toils, and they may enter upon a course of delights and spiritual joys.

Pray About It: Today is the day to leave all your troubles outside your prayer closet. You’ve been invited to a banquet where you will find your fill of joy and feasting. Best of all, you will find rest. Close the door to the wilderness. Eat and drink your fill at the banqueting table prepared for you.
This is the hour of banquet and song;
This is the Heavenly table spread for me;
Here let me feast, and feasting still prolong
The brief, bright hour of fellowship with Thee.
