Magnificent Prayer #60

Magnificent Prayer #60

Evening and morning and at noon I will pray and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.

Psalm 55:17 NKJV

The whole life of the believer should be prayer driven. Prayer should be the summary and the conclusion of our every act, every word, every wish. The act that is not prayer in the ultimate sense, and the word which is not prayer in the last analysis, and the wish that is not prayer in the profoundest depth are to be put away; they do not become the life of faith. They are things that produce fainting.

GEORGE CAMPBELL MORGAN

Pray About It: When you stop to think about it, our life is like a wheel, with prayer as the hub. Our finances, our daily bread, our relationships, our health, are all, in the first and last place, dependent on God’s provision. And anything dependent on God’s provision is bound up inseparably with prayer.

As you pray today, remind yourself that this lone activity is your starting place for everything you are.

I live in the spirit of prayer. I pray as I walk about, when I lie down and when I rise up. And the answers are always coming.
