Magnificent Prayer #363
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

It was a saying of George Mueller that faith grows with use…Put it to work by reverent and faithful praying, and it will grow and become stronger day by day. Dare today to trust God for something small and ordinary and next week or next year you may be able to trust Him for answers bordering on the miraculous.
Everyone has some faith, said Mueller; the difference among us is one of degree only, and the man of small faith may be simply the one who has not dared to exercise the little faith he has.

Pray About It: Has your faith grown this year? Has God given you problems and people to pray for which have strengthened your faith—even if you may not have seen the answer you wanted yet?
Next year you may be given even greater prayer assignments from God. Settle the issue today as to how you will respond, and how you will handle the joys, sorrows, and problems that await you next year.
Faith tested is faith strengthened. It is to have learned your weaknesses, but to also have learned the faithfulness of God and His tender care even in sending the difficulties that we might be there with him.
