You do not have, because you do not ask God.

Prayer is the easiest and hardest of all things, the simplest and the sublimest; the weakest and the most powerful. Its results lie outside the range of human possibilities—they are limited only by the omnipotence of God. Few Christians have anything but a vague idea of the power of prayer. Fewer still have any experience of that power.
The Church seems almost wholly unaware of the power God has given her. This spiritual blank check on the infinite resources of God’s wisdom and power is rarely, if ever, used, and never used to the full measure of honoring God.
Prayer is our most formidable weapon, and yet the one in which we are the least skilled and the most reluctant to use.

Pray About It: The most remarkable thing about prayer is that we human beings have been invited into God’s presence to fellowship with Him. Further, we’ve been told to ask freely of our heavenly Father for all our needs.
We have been given an incredible, truly unbelievable, magnificent gift in prayer. That’s what makes it so amazing that so many Christians live and die without knowing about and using this gift. How do they do it? To live without communion with God is like living in a loveless marriage.
Don’t let this happen to you. You have all the resources of God available to you. Use them frequently and wisely. Today thank God for His unspeakable gift of prayer.
Prayer, when we think of it, and perform it aright,—prayer is a magnificent thing—and a venturesome,—for any man to do. For prayer builds, and fits out, and mans, and launches a frail vessel of faith on the deep and wide sea of God’s sovereignty: and sets her sails for a harbour nothing short of heaven.
