But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

God’s best gifts, like valuable jewels, are kept under lock and key, and those who want them must, with fervent faith, importunately ask for them; for God is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Pray About It: Think of your prayer as a key to a vast storehouse stocked with riches unimaginable. If you had such a key, you would surely use it. And you do indeed have such a key—and there is actually such a storehouse.
Today, use your key to unlock God’s storehouse of spiritual riches. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Prayer is the key that unlocks all the storehouses of God’s infinite grace and power. All that God is, and all that God has, is at the disposal of prayer. But we must use the key.
