“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.

Faith says, “If ‘impossible’ is the only objection, it can be done!”
Faith brings God into the scene, and therefore it knows absolutely nothing of difficulties—it laughs at impossibilities.
In the judgment of faith, God is the grand answer to every question—the grand solution of every difficulty. It refers all to Him; and hence it matters not in the least to faith whether the need be $600,000 or $600,000,000. No matter, it knows that God is all-sufficient. It finds all its resources in Him.
Unbelief says, “How can such and such things be?” It is full of “Hows”; but faith has one great answer to ten thousand “hows,” and that answer is—God.

Pray About It: Why is it harder to have faith that God can (or will) answer our impossibilities rather than our possibilities? We pray for a clear day tomorrow for our outing, knowing that no rain is expected. Faith in such a case is easy. But if we have a more urgent need, such as finances, health, a wayward child, an unbelieving spouse, we find it harder to believe. It’s no harder for God to answer the tough prayers than the easy ones. The problem is in our limited thinking. With God nothing shall be impossible.
Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, and receives the impossible.
