God Has Given You A Special Gift

Lord, do spiritual gifts still exist? Do I have a spiritual gift?

I have given you a gift from my great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve others. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.

When I discover my spiritual gift, how do I begin to use it?

If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If I have given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. If you need wisdom, ask me, and I will give it to you. Keep putting into practice all you learned. Make the most of every opportunity.
