Vision
Vision
Vision leads to venture, and history is on the side of venturesome faith. The person of vision takes fresh steps of faith across gullies and chasms, not “playing safe” but neither taking foolish risks.
J. Oswald Sanders
Vision is the bridge between the past and the future. The path you’ve been on has clouded your ability to dream big dreams and to focus on the fact that I am the God for whom nothing is impossible. When you have no vision, you take the path of least resistance and avoid any possible discomfort. It requires sacrifice to embrace a God-sized vision and a goal to glorify Me in all you do, but that decision is well worth the effort.
You are in a strategic place at this time in history, and you have a choice—to play it safe, or to take appropriate risks as you further My Kingdom agenda. Ask Me to give you fresh faith, renewed energy, and supernatural spiritual strength for the road ahead of you. “Where there is no vision, the people perish” (Proverbs 29:18, KJV). As I carry you through your current difficulties, I will give you everything you need to point others to a better future in and with Me. You will cast vision for others in My perfect timing.
Write this. Write what you see. Write it out in big block letters so that it can be read on the run. This vision-message is a witness pointing to what’s coming. It aches for the coming—it can hardly wait! And it doesn’t lie. If it seems slow in coming, wait. It’s on its way. It will come right on time.
Habakkuk 2:2-3, MSG
