The Dwelling Place

A Christian is a tabernacle of the living God. He created me, he chose me, he came to dwell in me, because he wanted me. Now that you have known how much God is in love with you, it is but natural that you spend the rest of your life radiating that love.

Your life is full of uncertainty, and that gives your imagination room for speculation. You question—what if this happens, or what if that happens? At times you go through an entire day anxious and stressed, worrying about things that haven’t taken place and may never happen. Change your thought process by fully embracing the fact that you are My dwelling place. My Holy Spirit lives within you.

The day you became a follower of Christ, you became the residence of the Most High God. When My Spirit dwells within you, no evil can penetrate you. Rest and be at peace knowing that you are safe in My arms. Experience the benefits of this close relationship. Strength and joy are in My dwelling place (1 Chronicles 16:27). Bask in the protection I offer. Feel My love pouring over you. Then confidently demonstrate My love to others, knowing the Source of that love will never leave you. You are My dwelling place, and I am your Dwelling Place. Abide in Me, and I will abide in you (John 15:4).

In him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.
