Your story has the power to draw someone to Christ. Maybe you think your story is too imperfect, too ordinary, too embarrassing, too bizarre, or too uninteresting to be worth telling. That’s exactly why I want you to share your life journey with others—to let them know that no matter where they’ve been, what they’ve done, or what’s been done to them, I can transform, redeem, and use lives that are fully committed to Me. Many people you encounter will not read a Bible or step inside a church, so I’m asking you to share your life with them in a conversational way. They need to hear what it’s like to be set free from the past into a hope-filled future.

People relax when they listen to a story, and that gives My Spirit time to work in their lives, gently calling them to follow My teachings, to leave the past behind, and to consider the life and work of My Son. You’ll discover that conversation flows more easily after they hear about the roadblocks, choices, challenges, and opportunities you’ve had along the way. Be honest about your struggles and respond to their questions. Then, in the right timing, tell them the story of Jesus and what He offers them—forgiveness, healing, a fresh start, and a heavenly future.
