Living Water
Living Water
Christ is not a reservoir but a spring. . . . If we do not perpetually draw the fresh supply from the living Fountain, we will either grow stagnant or empty. It is, therefore, not so much a perpetual fullness as a perpetual filling.

Evaluate your walk with Me. Since you became a follower of Christ, have you experienced rivers of living water flowing from your heart? When life is challenging, your faith-stream may feel more like a trickle than a river. Perhaps you thought the waters from the Living Fountain were for other people and not for you. Take a look at John 7:37 and read it slowly: “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!” Anyone! That includes you.
Water is an essential element for life, and the living water offered by Christ was offered to you the day you said yes to Jesus. But living water does more than sustain your own own soul. My beloved Son said, “Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart’” (John 7:38). That means that as you allow yourself to be purified and refreshed by My Spirit, you will in turn refresh others—in abundance! Continue to draw your own fresh supply of water from the Living Fountain, keep announcing the Good News of the gospel, and lead people to the Source of living water. Ask them “Is anyone thirsty?” and invite them to “come and drink” (Isaiah 55:1).
But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.
John 4:14
