Just Ask

Just Ask

Simply put, God favors those who ask. He holds back nothing from those who want and earnestly long for what He wants.

Bruce Wilkinson

One person who dared to call upon Me boldly, asking for My blessing and favor, was a man named Jabez. I saw his faithfulness and humility, and I granted his request. I want you to follow his example, praying with authority and confidence, believing that I will answer. Jabez recognized the importance of prayer, and he implored Me out loud, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory!” As you pray in this way, I will expand your influence on the people around you. Whenever you encounter an open door for conversation about what I have done in your life, seize the opportunity as My blessing.

I also desire that you pray, “Let your hand be with me.” When I take you by the hand or lead you in a certain direction, be sure you are remaining in My will for your life. Then pray, “Keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” Never forget that I am your Shield and your Refuge. I want for you to be free from the things that have caused you pain. I take delight in granting your requests within My will and in My perfect timing. Just ask!

Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.
