In His Hand
In His Hand
God loves you intensely, wants to heal your wounds, and beckons you to safety in the shadow of his hand.
Judith Couchman
You are irresistible to Me. When life is hard and you feel beaten up by the unkind words of others and the circumstances that plague your days with uncertainty, I want to place you in My hand. There you will find quiet rest, sweet comfort, and My personal protection. You will be barricaded from the guilt that steals the precious time you need for recovery and renewal. The shadow of My hand is a place of refuge and safety.
Allow these words to comfort you: “He is a shield for all who look to him for protection” (Psalm 18:30). If you are seeking respite from the emotional, mental, and spiritual pressures you’ve been facing, let Me use My hand as your covering. Your hardship can change you for the better, transforming the ways you process trials and minister to the needs of others. Your body requires sleep and nourishment—take care of yourself and allow Me to strengthen you before you stretch yourself to the breaking point. Accept this time of healing as a gift from My hand.
I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely in my hand.
Isaiah 51:16
