Holiness

Holiness is about pleasing God—living in such a way that it’s clear you belong to Him. Holiness is what makes you unique as a believer in Jesus Christ.

Holiness begins when you enter into a relationship with Me. I bought you with a price—the blood of Jesus Christ—and I forgave your sins. I have set you apart and moved you from the world’s kingdom to My Kingdom. I don’t force you to follow Me, but I delight when you choose to honor Me, obey Me, and worship Me.

Being holy is not following a list of legalistic rules and harsh guidelines. It is having a heart that turns away from darkness and focuses on living every day in the light of My truth. As you seek to live a holy life, come to Me for direction and wisdom. Think pure thoughts. Live righteously. Speak words that encourage and build up others. You are set apart. Embrace the call to live by My principles.

I am sending you to the Gentiles to open their eyes, so they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God. Then they will receive forgiveness for their sins and be given a place among God’s people, who are set apart by faith in me.
