Seasons will come when He requires so much from you that you feel like you can’t bear it. You do have a choice. You don’t have to do it His way. . . . Or you can go for it. . . . You can experience the unmatched exhilaration of partnering in divine triumph. The stakes are high. The cost is steep. But I’ll promise you this: there is no high like the Most High.
Beth Moore
There is a cadence to life. Some of your years have been easier and more encouraging than this one. You look back and remember good health, supportive friends, and peaceful family relationships. But things have changed. You’ve experienced unwanted interruptions, irritating people, and unexpected crises. You thought your personal relationship with Me would keep you from facing the harsh seasons of life, and you’re disappointed. Your once rock-solid faith feels tenuous.
I am offering you a choice. You can pull away from Me, or you can step into this period of your life with a gusto that says, “Lord, I trust You to walk with me through the deepest valley. I’m clinging to You because You’ll never let go of me. I want my faith to grow higher, deeper, and wider. I’m learning that You give me precious treasures in the midst of adversity. You lead me to still waters and prepare me for coming storms. You’ve made my once routine life a faith-journey that makes me stronger. I relish the opportunity to partner with You in unmatched adventures. Oh, Lord, I would never go back to an easier life.”
I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.
Psalm 16:8, NKJV
