Heaven
Heaven
My hope is that this life is not all there is. This life is like preparation for what is coming next, and what is coming next is something so glorious that the Bible says minds can’t conceive it, eye has never seen, your imagination could never even enter into all that God is preparing for those who love him.
Anne Graham Lotz
Set your eyes on heaven. One day you will live with Me forever in a redeemed place. Jesus said, “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:2-3, NIV). In this grand and glorious home, there is great joy and pleasures abound (Psalm 16:11). That means that no matter what burden you are carrying now, in heaven you will experience relief from your current human condition. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and envision what your life will be like when the cares of this world no longer bind you. You will be in My presence experiencing extraordinary beauty, complete peace, and everlasting joy.
The condition for this kind of a future is that you accept the offering of Jesus on the cross for your sin. Love Me with your whole heart and trust Me with the challenges you face now. All of your trials will come to an end, and you will see Me face-to-face in all of My glory. You will be home—at last!
No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2:9
