God’s Plans

God has plans for you and His plans are for good because God Himself is good. He can neither think nor do evil.

You have questioned how I could allow trouble to enter your life. It goes against every rational thought in your mind that a loving God would permit trials to challenge someone He loves. As you read these Scriptures, be aware of My faithfulness to you and My plans for you: “The LORD will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever” (Psalm 138:8). I made you and I will not abandon you. “The LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken” (Psalm 33:11). Because you belong to Me, one day you will live in a world that cannot be shaken. That’s My promise to you.

Spend time today thinking about these truths: The intentions of God toward me are good. He cannot sin. He is incapable of doing evil. What He allows to happen in my life will work out for my good, even if I can’t see that fact today. Here is My encouragement and My commitment to you: My goodness and unfailing love will pursue you all the days of your life, and you will live in My house forever (Psalm 23:6). Be assured that everything I have designed for you is good.

O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.
