God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.
Peter Marshall
Look for My favor amid your difficulties. When you are in the middle of a hardship, it’s easy to think nothing is going right and no one is looking out for you. Your temptation is to believe that I’m not aware of all that’s gone wrong. Always remember that I’m an omnipresent God, and I am well acquainted with your sorrow.
Begin looking at your circumstances with new eyes. Search for the places where you’ve experienced My favor. Sometimes, favor comes in the form of unexpected acts of kindness from the people close to you. At other times, I will bless you with a passage from My Word that’s so personal you will know it’s intended specifically for your situation. I want you to experience double-portion blessings in the land of your suffering that are greater than you might ever have known if life had been easier. It brings Me great joy to shower My favor on you.
Joseph found favor in his eyes and became his attendant. Potiphar put him in charge of his household, and he entrusted to his care everything he owned. From the time he put him in charge of his household and of all that he owned, the LORD blessed the household of the Egyptian because of Joseph.
