Destiny

Destiny

There is no greater discovery than seeing God as the author of your destiny.

Ravi Zacharias

You are My masterpiece, and I created you anew in Christ Jesus so you can do the good things I planned for you long ago (Ephesians 2:10). Consider this: I saw you before you were born, and every day of your life was recorded in My book. In fact, every moment was laid out before you were a day old (Psalm 139:16). You belong to Me, and you have a destiny. No matter what your life’s work is, your ultimate calling remains the same—to bring glory to My name and to tell others about Jesus.

I have designed you with specific passions, gifts, creativity, ambitions, and desires that are unique to you. There is no one else like you anywhere in the world. But here’s the challenge: You can miss My destiny for your life if you’re running after momentary pleasures, or if you choose not to walk through doors I open for you due to fear, feelings of inadequacy, or anger toward Me because your life has been hard. I won’t make you choose to follow My will—that’s up to you. But I guarantee that if you say yes to an unknown future at My side, you will never cease to be amazed at where My purpose for your life takes you.

If you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Esther 4:14, NKJV
