Life is simply better when we are with others, and worse when we are isolated. God designed us to be connected, and life breaks down when we are not.

I didn’t create you to be independent and self-sufficient. You were made to live in humble, worshipful, accountable dependency upon Me and in close relationship with other members of the body of Christ. Your independence has caused you to internalize your struggles, instead of sharing your heart and needs with others. This has created loneliness and separation from people who would gladly cover you with prayer and offer help. I did not design you to do life alone.

I want you to set an example for people to follow by opening your heart with other believers. Care for each other, comfort one another, build each other up, do good to each other, be kind to each other, forgive one another, show hospitality to each other, and pray for each other’s needs. When you respond in this way, you know you are not alone. You are encouraged in tangible ways by fellow Christians who walk with you on a difficult path, and your heart is lifted by their faith. Reach out and accept My provision for you through the blessing of being connected to others who love Me.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
