Clean
Clean
Our Savior kneels down and gazes upon the darkest acts of our lives. . . . He reaches out in kindness and says, “I can clean that if you want.” And from the basin of his grace, he scoops a palm full of mercy and washes away our sin.

Sometimes you don’t come to Me because you feel undeserving to be in My presence. The memory of a past sin or a frustrating bad habit haunts your mind. There are days when you try to minimize the devastation your sin has caused, and at other times you’re paralyzed by regret.
If you need forgiveness for bitterness, anger, moral failure, or anything else that is separating you from Me, come as you are. As you experience a personal awareness of sin, there will be a time of grieving your wrong choices. Then do what David did—he confessed his transgressions, repented of his sin, and went in a new direction. I will cleanse you, forgive you, and give you grace for a new beginning. Ask Me to examine your life and to reveal anything that displeases Me. Then honestly admit your sin and ask for mercy—and I will forgive you and make you clean again.
Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Psalm 51:7
