Celebration, at its core, is the practice of choosing to be truly present in the moments in our lives.

Today I want you to focus on celebration. Sometimes enjoying the happy things in life feels awkward, especially when you know people who are struggling—but I am the Creator of joy. Look around and identify the good things in your life. You won’t find perfection until you are at home in heaven with Me, but if you keep your eyes open, you’ll find plenty of reasons to smile and sing right now.

You can start by celebrating the relationship you have with My Son—an intimate, secure, never-ending commitment to each other that brings comfort, protection, healing, love, and even laughter to your life. Take a moment to express your delight to Me as you once again recognize the benefits of this union. Notice the provisions I’ve made available to you. Then think about the people I’ve placed around you. They bring encouragement, companionship, and spiritual camaraderie. Open your mouth and speak out loud about your blessings. You can tell Me about them or rejoice with someone on your path today. Celebration lifts your spirit and puts your focus on glorifying Me. Enjoy this day. I made it for you!
