You are My handiwork—created with purpose, gifted for service, and energized by My Spirit. You sometimes feel unimportant and believe the job you do doesn’t have much meaning. You fight boredom and monotony and long for more excitement and fulfillment. In the middle of what feels like a mundane life, look for My unexpected surprises.

As you live by My principles and hide My Word in your heart, you’ll discover holy moments in unforeseen, everyday places. It might be in the thanks you receive when you help someone in need, in preparing a meal for your loved ones, in the spectacular beauty of a sunrise, or in the laughter of a child at play. I made you new in My Son, Christ Jesus, and I want you to celebrate the masterpiece you are—no more complaining about what you look like, or pointing out your lack of achievements, or grumbling about your inability to get more done in a day. Breathe deeply and say, “I was made by God for His pleasure. I am His workmanship, and every day I am doing the things He planned for me to do.” If you look for My hand at work in your daily activities, I will reveal holy moments of priceless value that will give meaning and joy to your life.

We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
