The World Then And Now
The World Then and Now
God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.
Genesis 1:31
Imagine yourself in this passage, standing next to God as he looks over his new creation.
What might God have felt toward the earth?
Did he marvel at its beauty?
Did he feel a sense of accomplishment at its amazingly complex design?
Did he feel joy as he listened to the sounds of trees swaying in the breeze, bubbling brooks, croaking frogs, and singing birds?
How do you think God feels when he sees the earth now?
With this picture in mind, ask God to open your heart this week to care more deeply about creation.
