Sense The Moment
Sense the Moment
Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks.
1 Timothy 4:4-5
Practice being present by allowing your five senses to help you be in the moment.
What do you see, smell, taste, and hear?
What kinds of sensations do you feel against your skin?
Several times during the day, stop for a few moments and ask these five questions.
Become more alive to God’s world around you. Thank him for the gift of your senses and reflect on the fact that each moment is unique and special.
Now think back over the past several days you spent practicing being more present.
When did you feel most present with God and others?
When were you most absent from God and others?
