Saying No to Busyness

Keep the Sabbath day holy. Don’t pursue your own interests on that day, but enjoy the Sabbath and speak of it with delight as the Lord’s holy day.

Isaiah 58:13

Continue to write your plan for the upcoming Sabbath.

What personal interests might God be asking you to say no to on that day?

Perhaps activities that drain you, like work?

Running errands?

Preparing for the upcoming week?

Obligatory social events?

Resist the temptation to feel guilty for saying no by reminding yourself that God desires this day to be set apart for resting with him.
