No One Like You

No One like You

Peter asked Jesus, “What about him, Lord?” Jesus replied, “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? As for you, follow me.”

John 21:21-22

Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct.

Galatians 6:4-5

Where are you most tempted to compare yourself to others? Your appearance, career, kids, or finances? The size of your home or the number of your material possessions?

Take a few moments to confess this to God and then thank him for what you do have. For example, when you find yourself wishing you looked as great as your friend, thank God for specific features that are unique to you.
