Is It Time to Wait?

Wait patiently for the Lord. . . . Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Psalm 27:14

Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act.

Psalm 37:7

When we are tired, overworked, overwhelmed, or disconnected from God, it is wise to put off making big decisions until we are in a healthier place.

Think about a decision that you need to make.

Are you considering a job change?

How to spend your money?

Whether or not to have a difficult conversation?

Now reflect on your present circumstances and ask the Lord if this is the best time to make that decision.

As you end this week on discernment, look back through the last six days and ask the Lord if there is an exercise he would like you to repeat.
