Hidden Treasure

I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name.

What hardship are you currently facing?

What treasures might God have hidden for you during this dark season?

In difficult times it is especially hard to be present. You may tend either to linger with regret over the past, replaying the circumstances of your hardship, or to dream about the future with a longing for better times.

Instead of wishing for the trial to be over, ask the Lord to help you be cognizant of his presence during this difficult time.

What might he be doing in your life right now?

What gifts might he be offering you in the present?
