Good Medicine

Good Medicine

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Proverbs 17:22, ESV

As you look ahead to this day, what is the one part of it in which you will struggle most to be joyful?

Pause and ask God to open your heart and give you a joyful perspective about it; then read the above verse again.

Sometimes joy is a reaction to a happy circumstance. Other times, you must choose to be joyful even when it feels as though you have nothing to be joyful about.

How might God be calling you to choose joy today?
