God Delights in You

The Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Let the faithful rejoice that he honors them. Let them sing for joy as they lie on their beds.

Psalm 149:4-5

Who in your life brings you the most joy?

Your spouse? Your child? A best friend?

If you, in your fallen and sinful condition, can rejoice over this person, how much more does your perfect heavenly Father rejoice over you?

Take a moment and let that sink in: The God of the universe delights in you right now, regardless of what you’ve done.

How would your attitude change if you really believed God was cheering you on throughout this day?
